The siput khinzir rate of me studying really2 drive me crazy. Pretty sure because of this monkey baboon internet. Kalau gi khutub khanah pulak, the second i open the kitab2 that need to khatam, at that moment rase cam ade 10 org dayang istana sedang mengipas2 aku suruh tidor. Assie, now you put the blame on that puaka library. It's you! Not the internet, not the library nor the librarian. YOU YOU YOU!

Fine. Enuff of pointing fingers to sape2. Tomorrow kanak2 3rd year ade Viva for their final year project. Good Luck guys! I wish im in their shoes, dah nak grad.. huhuhu..

AKu nak paste one interesting email pasal engineering students in the UK. Keep on reading..

Information for Malaysian Engineering Students in the UK

It has been brought to my attention that there are Malaysian students still taking the 3-year engineering degree programme in the UK.

Under the Registration of Engineers Act, all engineering graduates are required to register with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineers. On getting the necessary practical experience of not less than 3 years, the young engineer can then sit for the Professional Exam (called Professional Interview) conducted by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) and on passing the exam, can register as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the BEM and use the title "Ir." At the same time he can be admited as a Corporate Member of IEM (giving him the MIEM).

Only accredited engineering degrees are recognised for registration with the BEM/IEM. Currently only the 4-year MEng degrees offered by British Univesities which leads to the Chartered Engineer (CEng) Status with the Engineering Council, UK is recognised by BEM/IEM. The 3-year BEng degree allows registration as Incorporated Engineer in the UK and the graduate will have to take either a one year further learning called the "Matching Section" which is rarely offered in the UK today or an MSc degree before he can be considered by BEM/IEM.

Malaysian students are therefore strongly advised to take the 4-year MEng degree to enable them to return to Malaysia and register with the BEM and join the IEM.

For your information, BEM is a government regulutory body and IEM is a learned society and professional institution dedicated to promoting the profession. BEM, IEM, LAN and JPA are represented on an Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) that provides a one-stop centre for accreditation of engineering degrees in Malaysia. For British degrees, EAC relies on a list provided by the Engineering Council, UK .

On behalf of the Council of IEM, I would like to welcome you all to the engineering profession on your graduation.

Thank you.

Ir. Prof. Abang Abdullah Abang Ali
President, IEM.

Anyway, fedy email TNB about this (continuing doing MEng) and this is what they replied :

I tau semua orang nak register as a professional engineer, tapi at the moment itulah keputusan yang diambil somehow, u all masih bleh register as a graduate engineer ngan BEM kan). So, per kater kerja dulu, later on, sit for the exam...mungkin a bit difficult, tapi itula policy yang diamalkan sekarang.

Harap maklum.

Hohoho.. so like how? Oh for me, well, cita2 ku mmg laa memanjat tiang letrik, memintal kabel2 and bermain bersama transformer so definitely im going back first :) Bugs is planning to do her phD and aku sokong 800%, at least kalau aku sesaje nak datang UK shopping ke honeymoon ke, ade laa rumah aku nak lepak.. hahahah..

Cakap pasal TNB, they have sorted out my flight tickets, thank you kak asada! Hehehe.. Akan menaiki tongkang pulang ke Msia 23rd June dan dijangka tiba di msia sebulan selepas sauh dilabuhkan. Practical pun konfem dah kat Teluk Rubiah Jana Manjung with Azmir, start practical 5th july. Hopefully sempat laa aku bajar cam mane nak memegang stereng kereta. I cant even remember belah mane tekan minyak and belah mane break. hmmm, I wonder how did i pass my driving test. BTN pulak starts on 27th july, most probably with budak2 PNB, yippieee!!! Ni yg menarik ni, kalu dak budak2 tnb BTU2000 ade 6 kerat jek, giler x best kalau join ntah sape2 kat BTN. Harap2nyeh laa buwat kat Janda Baik and buwat orientation TNB kat cherating, aminnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Okes, gtg, have to be a statistician - 'mengkaji' past papers. Good luck everyone and May Allah help us along the way... :)
